How does the flagging system work?

Each publisher has specific rules for the different ad spots and verticals allowed to be promoted on their website. The flag could be indicating:

  • Specific characteristic of your banner (i.e. “Closing buttons”, “Animated banners”, etc.)

In such case, you can add banners which do not possess these features in order to receive traffic from the listed ad spots in the “Flags” field.

  • Specific characteristic of your URL - for popunder campaigns (i.e. “JS pop-ups”, “Entry pop”, etc.)

In such case, please modify your landing page according to our Guidelines, in order to remove the flag.

  • Vertical promoted (i.e. “Dating”, “Games”, “Casino”, etc.)

When a campaign has been flagged for a specific vertical and there are listed websites under that flag, that campaign will not be receiving traffic from that website(s).

When a campaign is flagged, you can check what is the reason of the flag and which ad spots it affects by clicking on the blue flag next to each banner/URL in the Ads tab.

If there is a flag, you will not be receiving traffic on that specific banner/URL from the listed ad spots, but you will still receive traffic from all the other selected ad spots.
